Accounting-grade financial reporting, inside your product this week
P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and a general ledger with drill-down to every line, with numbers that reconcile to the cent. A production-ready Next.js frontend you connect to your API, rebrand in under an hour, and own outright.
No sign-up. The demo signs you in with one click, and every account is fictional.
- Next.js 16
- React 19
- Strict TypeScript
- 237 tests
- Full source
- No licence server
Executive dashboard: eight KPIs against the prior period, revenue versus expenses, and cash balance.
- 37pages, from dashboard to trial balance
- 7financial reports that reconcile
- 237automated tests
- 250Kledger lines, 26 rows in the DOM
The problem
Every finance product ends up needing reporting. Building it right takes months.
- Build it in-house: the screens take a weekend. Totals that reconcile, exact drill-downs and safe permissions take months.
- Embed a BI tool: generic dashboards, with fees that grow with every customer you sign.
- Buy a UI kit: pretty personal-finance screens with no accounting underneath.
- Numeralens: the accounting-grade version, already built and tested, for a one-time licence.
What would building it cost you?
Set your own estimate.
Numbers you can trust
Click any number. See every ledger line behind it.
Finance users don't trust a chart they can't trace. Numeralens is built on a double-entry demo ledger that reconciles, so you can show buyers exactly how it behaves with real accounting.
- Drill-down everywhere: from a KPI, chart segment or report line to the entries behind it, with a breadcrumb back.
- Cent-exact money math: integer cents throughout, so ten thousand rows sum to exactly the printed total.
- Reports that reconcile: the trial balance balances and the balance sheet ties.
- Server-enforced roles: five roles checked on all 26 data routes, not just hidden menus.
What's inside
A complete financial analysis application, not a mock-up
Everything a finance team expects to see, built on a calculation engine you can trust.
Seven financial reports
Profit & loss, balance sheet, cash-flow statement, general ledger, trial balance, receivables and payables ageing, all with comparative periods.
Analytics and budgets
Revenue, expense, profitability and cash-flow analytics, budget versus actual, inventory, customers and vendors, plus a build-your-own dashboard.
Built for real ledgers
100,000 transactions with sub-10 ms paging, search and filtering, measured in a built-in Performance Lab. Switch the demo between 10K and 250K lines.
Real auth, enforced on the server
Signed sessions, rate-limited sign-in and five roles checked on every data route. Sign in as Viewer in the demo and watch the server say no.
Multi-entity, any currency
Filter by company, branch and department. Currency and locale are runtime configuration.
Export and present
Export tables, print statements, and copy AI summaries to email or a board pack in one click.
Intelligence layer
AI that structurally can't invent a number
Every figure comes from a deterministic calculation engine. The model only writes words around validated numbers. Without an API key, all five features still work.
- Executive narrative: board-ready commentary with recommended actions.
- CFO Copilot: plain-English questions compiled into a closed, validated query.
- Predictive cash flow: seasonal projection with 80% and 95% intervals and scenarios.
- Anomaly Sentry: duplicates, outliers, vendor spikes and a Benford test across every document.
- Collection risk: a documented 1–100 score per customer, with reminder drafts in four tones.
For developers
One adapter between Numeralens and your data
Enter a REST base URL in Settings, or implement one typed interface for GraphQL, gRPC or a database. Field mapping lives in one file.
- Run it.
npm install,npm run dev. A 25-month demo ledger makes every page work with no backend. - Connect your API. Implement the 23-method
DataAdapteror point Settings at your REST API. - Make it yours. Name, logo, colours, currency and locale at runtime; 17 feature flags switch modules off. Deploy to Vercel, Docker or any Node host.
export interface DataAdapter {
getDashboard(f: FilterParams): Promise<DashboardSummary>;
getProfitAndLoss(f: FilterParams): Promise<FinancialReport>;
getBalanceSheet(f: FilterParams): Promise<FinancialReport>;
getGeneralLedger(f: FilterParams): Promise<Paginated<LedgerEntry>>;
getTrialBalance(f: FilterParams): Promise<TrialBalance>;
getReceivables(f: FilterParams): Promise<ReceivablesReport>;
// …17 more, each typed and documented
}
Your brand
Light or dark, desktop or phone, your name on it
Runtime theming, dark mode and mobile card layouts on every page. Rebrand without touching components.

Who it's for
Teams that need finance reporting without a finance-reporting project
SaaS teams
Add customer-facing financial reports to a billing, accounting or vertical SaaS product. Extended licence.
Agencies
Deliver finance dashboards and client portals for accounting firms and CFO services. One Standard licence per client project.
Accounting & ERP partners
Give your clients a modern web reporting layer on top of the system they already run.
“I build accounting and ERP software for a living. Numeralens is the reporting layer I kept seeing teams rebuild from scratch, done once and done carefully: statements that reconcile, permissions enforced on the server, and AI that never touches a figure. You buy it directly from me, and your questions come straight to me.”

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
What exactly do I get?
The full TypeScript source of Numeralens (37 pages, components, the demo dataset, the adapter layer and the tests), 16 documentation guides and six months of support. No licence server, no obfuscation, no phone-home.
Do I need a backend?
Not to try it: it runs with a built-in demo ledger and no API key. For production you connect your own accounting or ERP API through one adapter, by entering a REST base URL in Settings or implementing the documented DataAdapter interface. See API integration.
What's the tech stack?
Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, strict TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, TanStack Query, Table and Virtual, Recharts, Radix UI, Zod and Vitest. Requires Node.js 20 or newer.
Standard or Extended?
Both cover one end product. Standard is for products your end users don't pay for, such as an internal tool or a client portal. Extended is for products you charge end users for, such as a SaaS subscription. Each additional end product needs its own licence.
Does the AI cost me anything?
No. All five AI features work without an API key through a deterministic engine. If you add your own Anthropic API key, the provider bills you directly for your usage. Every figure is computed by the calculation engine either way.
Is it secure?
Sign-in uses signed, httpOnly session cookies and scrypt-hashed passwords, and every data route checks the user's permission on the server. When you connect your own API, that API must still authorise its own requests, as with any frontend. See Authentication.
Can I see more before buying?
Yes. The live demo has every page, and the complete documentation is public, including the QA report and what was not verified.
What is the refund policy?
You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the software is materially defective and we cannot fix the defect. Please try the live demo and read the documentation before buying. Full details are in the refund policy.
How is support handled?
By email, with replies within 2–3 business days, Monday to Friday, for six months from purchase. It covers defects and questions the documentation should have answered. See Support.
